Chasing sunsets since ‘97

Nathan was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and had grown up in Mississippi. He’s always been passionate about storytelling, and photography has always been one of his favorite mediums of telling tales, most notably through using film and hand developing his negatives as a way to add a more human element to his work. Nathan’s primary influences are that of Vivian Maier’s street photography and Jim Marshall’s concert work. His other influences include Ansel Adams and Hiroshi Sugimoto. His main focus is black and white photography because if you strip the color away all you are left with is the subject and the story they could tell. A small passion project of his is his “Macro Landscapes” that’s purpose is to highlight the smaller parts of nature we’d normally miss on the day-to-day.
